Their Bridal Insights:
“My mum gave me some great advice. Stop for a moment before you walk down the aisle and just look around and take everything in. Also, use a great wedding coordinator
and you will have nothing to worry about.at

Their Perfect Romance:
We literally bumped into each other on a dance floor. Kris rang me the next day after his best friend reminded him that I had given him my  phone number. There was a period where we were apart but that all ended when we met up at a birthday party. We both knew the other would be there and had both joined a gym so we would look fantastic; just to show the other what they were missing. I told Kris that I was fitter and he challenged me to a race the next day and after that true love ran smooth. Kris proposed one Christmas night and we spontaneously celebrated on the front lawn, inviting family and neighbours. Everyone brought their Christmas leftovers and champagne. Kris started stopping cars, telling them he was getting married and inviting them to join us!

Their Ideal Wedding:
Our wedding was at the Hope Island Golf Club. Everything was included in the wedding package at Kris favourite beer was even on tap. It was an emotional day but in a good way. I had kept my beautiful Wendy Makin gown secret from even my dad so it was a teary moment when he first saw me. We had written our own vows. I had no idea that Kris would say such beautiful things. While I was saying my vows, I would get emotional if I looked at Kris, so I looked at the groomsmen. It didnt help, they were all choked up as well.

Their Unique Choices:
I had Allure Hair and Beauty from Burleigh do my hair and make-up. They also did the hair and make-up for Lord of the Rings, The Matrix and The Last Samurai. Kris kept joking I would look like an Asian Hobbit dressed in a trench coat! Our special choice was a fifteen-minute fireworks display synchronised to Michael Buble. It was a total surprise forour guests who thought they were going outside for a group photo. At the reception the chair covers were black with silver bows. They looked stunning and when we entered the reception, dry ice had been put into the fountain so mist covered the floor. We had two spare chairs at each table so that we could sit down and share some of the meal with all our guests. Our wedding cake was from Deliberately Delicious and came in individual boxes. The cakes were either chocolate, white chocolate or caramel mud cakes. The photographer was Toni Snell. We had already done an engagement shoot and she was fantastic on the day and if you are willing to take the risks you can get some amazing photographs with Toni. Our honeymoon was a Mediterranean Cruise. We even had the chance to climb Mt Etna while it was erupting. We stopped over in Dubai and Kris said he had a big surprise. We were picked up in a $1.2 million Rolls Royce (I was expecting a camel). It took us to the Burj Al Arab Towers and the underwater aquarium restaurant. I was thoroughly spoiled and loved every minute of it!
