One year to go…
Use shampoos that suit your hair type. Always use a treatment. If you are growing your hair, trim your hair at least 1cm every six to eight weeks. If the hair technician of your choice is famous and in great demand, book them early for the wedding day. Book appointments for your bridesmaids too.
Six Months to go….
Go through some magazines for inspiration. While thinking of your wedding dress design, choose your hairstyle, depending on your hair type – curly, straight, wavy, short, long. Think of complementary or similar hair styles for your bridesmaids.
Three months to go…
If you have not yet booked your hair technician – book now for the wedding day. don't forget to book appointments for your bridesmaids as well. Tell your hair technician the style of hair you want. Ask them if it would suit your gown, if not how can they modify it to suit your gown. If you are planning to change your hair color, don’t color your hair now!. Keep to a natural look.
Six weeks to go..
Book the hair technician for your wedding day and get them to do a pre-trial of the style you desire. Tell the technician of any types of accessories you’d like to be attached.
Two weeks to go…
If you need your hair coloured, do it now. Have a trim. Your bridesmaid should make sure they have pins, comb and spray for emergency kit for wedding day.
The day before….
Wash your hair and condition as instructed by your hair technician on the day before. NOT on your wedding day.
On the day…
Go for your hair appointment. It will be fun. You will look fanastic...
