It’s no surprise to anyone that I just love what I do.  Marrying my gorgeous couples, with all the planning and excitement, just doesn’t get old.

When I first started as a celebrant 16 years ago, I came up with the tag line ‘making weddings fun’ because I have an upbeat personality and a wayward sense of humour and I wanted to be as authentic as possible when I realised how much ‘plastic’ is in the industry – now all the celebrants say they do fun weddings.  I’m the original.

I don’t mind, imitation is the best form of flattery.

I specialise in upbeat, modern ceremonies and just adore my couples.  No two weddings are the same just as no two relationships are the same, and I just love creating ceremonies that honour those differences.

And we all get to have a few laughs along the way.

We had Lynette marry us at Flaxton Gardens last month and she was a lot of fun! We wanted something not too soppy but light-hearted and fun so our guests enjoyed the ceremony too and that’s exactly what Lynette did. Our guests laughed and cried throughout and they all commented on how fun she had made it. Lynette also guided us throughout the process from the day we booked her to assist us with our vows, the style of the ceremony and the legal paperwork so it was an exciting process rather than daunting.
